This page describes what sovereignmc.net stores, what it does not, and where the data comes from. Where a value is genuinely unknown to us — how long a record is kept, or which legal body governs the site — we say so rather than state something we cannot stand behind, and point you at the team to ask.
What this website stores
The site is static apart from the account-linking flow, and it sets no tracking of its own. Reading a page does not create an account, a profile or a record of you.
The two live counts on the home page are read from elsewhere and shown here; they are not collected about you. The player count comes from a Minecraft Server List Ping to play.sovereignmc.net, and the Discord member count comes from Discord's public invite API. Neither identifies you, and neither is written to storage by this site.
Discord account linking
Linking your Discord account is the only thing that associates an online account with your in-game one. It starts when you run /link in Minecraft, which shows you a one-time code, and finishes when you authorise the link on Discord.
The one-time code is held against a Redis key so the callback can find your account, and it expires within minutes. Once the link is made, the site keeps the association and nothing more: no message content, no Discord token is retained on this site, and the link exists so that in-game actions can be attributed to your Discord account.
War and game records
The wars, battles and PvP region pages read records the game plugins already write: the war log of who attacked whom and what was captured, and which nation holds which contested region. Those records describe towns and nations, not individual visitors, and they are public by design so that a war can be audited after it ends.
Store and payments
The store takes payment through Stripe Checkout. Stripe is the merchant of record for every purchase and runs its own checkout pages, where it collects your email address, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy. This site never sees or stores your card number.
What sovereignmc.net stores from a purchase is the Minecraft username you type at checkout, the Minecraft UUID and Discord id once that account links Discord, and the entitlement row recording the tier, its price and its expiry. The username is unverified when you enter it: the purchase stays unclaimed until the player with that account links their Discord account.

Third parties
Pages here embed the wiki and the map, which are separate services with their own infrastructure, and outbound links go to Discord and to the server vote lists. Following one of those links takes you to a service governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.

If you want to know what is linked to your account, or to have that link removed, open a support ticket through contact. We will act on what we can actually see rather than claim a deletion we cannot verify.
