Sovereign MC IP

The address is play.sovereignmc.net. Copy it, paste it into Minecraft, and you are in.

play.sovereignmc.net

The Sovereign MC IP is play.sovereignmc.net. The game server runs on port 25550, but you never have to type it: the address publishes an SRV record, so Minecraft looks the port up for you and play.sovereignmc.net is all you paste.

How to connect

  1. Launch Minecraft: Java Edition. Sovereign MC runs on 1.21; older versions cannot connect.
  2. Open Multiplayer from the title screen.
  3. Click Add Server.
  4. Name the entry anything you like, and paste play.sovereignmc.net into the Server Address field.
  5. Select the entry and press Play.

If it does not connect

Check that you are on Java Edition 1.21 and not Bedrock Edition, which uses a separate protocol. Behind a corporate or school network, ask the administrator to allow outbound connections on port 25550.
